Companion Pet Hospital proudly offers laser therapy to our clients for their pets. This technology provides a powerful, non-invasive, pain-free, surgery-free, drug-free treatment to help reduce pain and speed the healing of inflamed or damaged tissues.
Arthritis, degenerative joint disease, fractures, joint problems, and some soft tissue injuries are among the conditions for which we recommend laser therapy. After laser therapy, clients may notice their dog lie down or stand up more easily, go upstairs more often, play with a ball he’s not picked up in months or go back to getting on the couch or bed. And, when dogs have better mobility, medications can often be reduced. Our goal is to have your pet’s mobility improved thus improving their overall quality of life.
Thanks to its ability to reduce pain and swelling, and promote the healing of incisions, we administer a laser treatment after all dentals and surgeries performed at the hospital. Depending on the type of surgery performed, we may recommend additional laser therapy sessions in order to speed the healing process.
