Senior Preventative Health Care

Because our pets age much quicker than we do, we recommend bi-annual office visits. Your veterinarian may recommend additional diagnostics at the time of your exam. Vaccines are still important to our older pets and to help reduce the risk of post-vaccine reactions in pets that are due for multiple vaccines, an additional vaccine exam with a technician can be scheduled within 30 days of the initial visit.

Your senior pet’s exam also includes a consultation about your aging pet’s nutrition, mobility, and comfort. An in-house referral to our integrative medicine specialist, Dr. Frederick, may be recommended to help provide your pet with the best quality of life in his or her golden years.
